Gabriel Dunsmith is one half of Lonesome Hunter (https://lonesome-hunter.bandcamp.com/album/the-reykjav-k-sessions), who play traditional Appalachian music on the mountain dulcimer, which is an American cousin of the Icelandic langspil.
He also runs the trad sessions at Ægir Bar in Reykjavík (https://www.facebook.com/groups/RVKsession), an informal group of musicians that gathers twice a month.
