It's time once again for the Hamraborg Festival, an artist-run art festival focusing on visual arts, site-specific works, performance art and social engagements.
Hamraborg Festival (https://www.hamraborgfestival.is/contact) is an annual festival held since 2021 in Hamraborg, in the centre of Kópavogur.
The festival is sponsored by the Art and Culture Council of Kópavogur, Visual Art Fund and Barnamenningarsjóður, and will take place from August 29 to September 5.
Co-curators and producers Joanna Pawlowska and Agnes Ársælsdóttir join Darren to talk not just about the festival, but also the history and architecture of Hamraborg and Kópavogur.
