André Bernier is an American meteorologist, forecasting the weather at Cleveland's WJW-TV. During this summer's volcanic eruption, André's viewers watched video streamed by RÚV of the events at Litli-Hrútur. His friend Bob Gilmore has worked in broadcast media for decades in the USA.
Together they first visited Iceland in 1987, and have travelled here separately many times since.
In an episode recorded on Monday, one day before the latest eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula, Darren met with André and Bob to hear about their love of Iceland - and get a quick review of last weekend's Iceguys concert too (we play out with one of their songs today!)
