The foreign news desk here at RÚV produces a radio programme about foreign affairs, Heimskviður. It is broadcast on Rás 1 on Saturday afternoons.
Many of the interviews that are recorded for Heimskviður happen in English, and occasionally here on RÚV English Radio you'll have the chance to hear some of those interviews, in full.
On 13th February 1997, a huge storm near the southwestern coast of the UK pushed 62 containers off the cargo ship Tokio Express. One was filled with nearly five million pieces of Lego. Writer and beachcomber Tracey Williams was among many people to start finding thousands of the Lego pieces. Her book "Adrift" is the story of the impact humans are having on the marine environment.
She spoke to RÚV's Björn Malmquist.
