Today, RÚV English Radio is in Húsavík.
The Exploration Museum in Húsavík is dedicated to the history of human exploration, from the early explorers to the exploration of space.
Currently the space (no pun intended) which it usually occupies, accommodates the Eurovision Song Contest Exhibition, but it will revert to its original purpose sometime next year.
Darren met with the owner of both attractions, Örlygur Hnefill Örlygsson, to hear about those plans to reopen the Exploration Museum, and the close ties between this part of north east Iceland, and attempts to explore much further.
