Today, RÚV English is on the road, at Þingvellir.

Þingvellir National Park is the site of Iceland's first Parliament, dating back nearly eleven hundred years. But it's also right at the point where the European and American continents are still slowly pulling apart.

This historical, political and geological marvel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a must-visit for travellers and Icelanders alike.

Darren meets Torfi Stefán Jónsson, interpretative planner at the Park, for a deep dive back into the past.
