Episode 93 - 40 YEARS OF MAREL

Today, RÚV English joins the ongoing 40th anniversary celebrations of Icelandic food processing solutions company Marel.

The company has been a fixture in the capital area since its creation there in 1983, and now spreads its wings into dozens of other countries, offering software, machinery, systems and solutions to the poultry, meat and fish processing industries, as well as those involved in the production of new plant-based material.

Marel is a truly international company, and that's especially obvious at its Garðabær HQ, where workers from all over the world keep the business running and expanding.

Darren is joined by Stacey Katz, Chief Financial Officer, Danae Acevedo, Marketing Project Coordinator, Daniel Niddam, Industry Sales Manager, and Bing Yu, Business Intelligence Solutions Architect, who between them hail from three different continents!
