Today on RÚV English Radio, the twenty five year old song celebrating Iceland's Christmas beer tradition.
The Höfn band Parket have been together for a quarter of a century, and at the start of that period, wrote a song about their love of the festive beer popular in Iceland at Christmas - the jólabjör (https://open.spotify.com/track/2iXe52EVWHEj6NiSV2tP2m?si=fbf66e068d4c4bd2)
The song has been rerecorded by the band - and a new jólabjör is being brewed in its honour.
Darren went to Höfn to speak with Stjáni and Júlíus from the band, to hear about the song and its history.
