Today, Darren meets musician Jelena Ciric.
Jelena (https://www.jelenaciric.com/) is a well-known and popular presence on Reykjavík's music scene.
Her debut EP "Shelters one" was awarded Folk Album of the Year at the 2021 Icelandic Music Awards, where she was also nominated as Female Vocalist of the Year. Her single Rome was nominated as Best Song (Open Category) and Best Music Video at the 2023 Icelandic Music Awards.
On the eve of her new EP release "Shelters two", Darren met Jelena to hear more about her music and her story.
