The Reykjavik International Children's Film Festival (https://bioparadis.is/vidburdir/barnakvikmyndahatid-2024/) will take place for the eleventh time, from this Saturday, October 26, to November 3, at the capital's Bíó Paradís. The theme of the festival this year is animation. The festival has established itself as an important cultural event for children and teenagers in the capital.
On 3 November, young audiences aged 12 to 19 from across Europe will come together for the Young Audience Film Day, when SCRAPPER, a debut feature by Charlotte Regan, and winner of the European Young Audience Award 2023, will be screened simultaneously in various European cinemas, including Bíó Paradís, followed by a live-streamed Q&A (tickets are free but must be booked at https://tickets.bioparadis.is/#/book/7654)
