A feast awaits this weekend at Harpa, and RÚV English Radio is here to find out more.
This weekend, the Icelandic Food Market (https://www.facebook.com/events/302046089193677/) is back in its eleventh year at Harpa in Reykjavík.
It's open on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April, from 11am to 5pm each day, and admission is free.
Organisers say that "Iceland's food heroes will come together with sweet, hearty, and nutritious offerings, armed with passion for food, and for the process." Around forty producers from across Iceland and around the world will be at the market, offering a huge variety of food from fishermen, farmers, and other artisan producers.
Darren met with organiser and co-creator of the event, Eirný Sigurðardóttir, to get a quick taste of what's ahead.
