Today, RÚV English previews the Reykjavík music festival for those who don't want to leave town next weekend.
Innipúkinn is a 3-day annual music festival held in Reykjavik during the first weekend of August.
During that weekend, much of the capital heads off to the countryside for the "merchants' holiday weekend", or Verslunarmannahelgin, and many will go camping out of the city.
The Innipúkinn music festival however more than looks after those who don't, with some excellent tunes and a fantastic city festival vibe.
Darren went to the Röntgen Bar in downtown Reykjavik, one of the venues, to meet Steinþór Helgi Arnsteinsson from the festival, and find out more.
The festival takes place from 4-6 August at Gamla bíó and Röntgen, and Ingólfstræti street between the venues.
