An Icelandic film based on the novel Tryggðarpantur by Auður Jónsdóttir. To make ends meet, Gísella Dal, gets two women to rent rooms from her. At first, living together goes well. Over time, however, cultural clashes begin to threaten Gísella's control, sanity, and sense of identity.
